Detling eNews - March 2010

Dear friends and supporters,

Welcome to the March edition of the People without Limits eNews.

What a packed month it's been! Along with the launch of www.detling.com, we are delighted to announce there is now a new youth website as well!

Located at http://youth.detling.com, the site has been built to support the fantastic work that The Message Trust are going to be doing with our youth at Detling 2010. The site is a great resource for our 11-17s with the latest news, team information, late night gigs and regularly updated speaker bios.

What's more, to celebrate the launch of the new Detling Youth website, we are offering youth groups the opportunity to get their leader to Detling for free!

If just 10 young people (aged 11-17) from the same youth group book for Detling, their leader can come for free! Now they may say that isn't great for them, but how about for every 10 young people in the same group that book, the 11th can come free too? An amazing offer not to be missed, let your youth leader know!

We believe that God is stirring something amongst our young people, and as they are going to be our future leaders and visionaries, we need to support them as much as we can.

Shine Your Light Campaign

The Message Trust is launching a new campaign for 2010, entitled Shine Your Light. This is to encourage young people to shine their lights in communities up and down the nation sharing the good news through words and actions.

Big Church Day Out Special Offer

Don't forget that you can still get Big Church Day Out tickets for £12 each, available whenever you book for Detling 2010: Rise, Run, Reign up until the 30th April. This is an incredible event for people from all different church backgrounds to worship together in a beautiful countryside setting.

Coast to Coast Walk - April 2010

As part of a fundraising effort for People without Limits, some members of our stewarding team are walking from St. Bee's Head, Cumbria to Robin Hood's Bay, Yorkshire - a trek of 196 miles in 12 days.

Volunteer for Detling 2010

Many thanks to those of you who responded to our previous requests for volunteers. Our numbers are up but we always need more. Don't forget that many volunteers can come to Detling for free and also receive free meals whilst on duty.

Easter Monday Youth Pilgrimage - 5th April 2010, 12pm

We've celebrated Easter, but what's the point? The Detling band will be leading worship at this special event at Canterbury Cathedral with guest speaker Russell Rook. For more information, please visit www.canterburydiocese.org/eastermonday.

Website Statistics

With the recent launch of the new www.detling.com, we thought we would let you know that during February, we had over 1,000 site visits alone, which is incredible!
